My car buying experience with Suntrup was surprising to say the least!  I am a contractor in Macon, Georgia.  I wanted a new van to take to different jobs with specific tools in it, a top notch van.  I shopped online and found the van at Suntrup.  My son and I made an adventure out of getting to St. Louis to buy the van.  We went by bus!  The folks there could not have been nicer!!!  They had my van ready (I mean washed, detailed and ready to go!)  They offered to take us to a Cardinal game, but we had to get back home.  They made us feel so comfortable, and welcome!  I would highly recommend anyone to come to this special dealership to have the best car buying experience you could ever have!  Go see them.  They are GREAT!    J.C. My wife and I had been considering a new vehicle and went online to research what the various dealerships around town were offering.  First of all, your website was one of the only ones that was even up to date.  I contacted your sales department through your website and spoke with one of the Internet Sales Consultants.  The Sales Consultant emailed me the information about the car and explained all the rebates that were applicable.  We made a deal over the phone and within an hour, we were making plans to cme to the dealership to pick up the vehicle.  Once we arrived, our new car was parked out front and was shined and polished and ready for our inspection.  It was everything our Internet Consultant had mentioned and more.  My compliments to your dealership and employees.

What began as a normal day quickly became a very special one in my life.  It was the day that I became the owner of a Suntrup Hyundai Sonata.  That day I met my sales consultant, Dwight.  Not only was he totally professional and knowledgeable about his product, but he listened to my concerns and answered all my questions.  He made the purchasing process so very easy and pointed out every detail of the sale.  After the sale, I was surprised to receive a telephone message from Mr. Craig Suntrup.  He congradulated me on the purchase of my Sonata and welcomed me into the Suntrup family.  That simple act made me realize that I am not dealing with a big corporation but a family business.  I have already taken advantage of the free car washes.  Suntrup Hyundai, kudos to you.  You have a great product, and have my business for the foreseeable future!  D. Last week my car broke down and I took it to the closest automotive repair center that I could get it to.  They charged me 30 dollars to look at my car and I was told that it was my radiator.  They changed their story with me a few times that day and was very unprofessional.  In the meantime, I contacted James in your Service Department.  He was very helpful on the phone and looked up our warranty information for me.  He was concerned about the safety of us bringing the car up to Suntrup but assured me that if we did, they would provide us with the best service.  That is exactly what he did!  He was very helpful and informational.  James did not just tell us something to appease us, but told us that in order to be accurate in the diagnosis that they would need to keep the car overnight and have your mechanics look at the car thoroughly.  The diagnosis was the water pump and not the radiator.  Once James knew, he called again because he knew I was worried about the price.  I feel that James went above and beyond his call of duty.  You should feel very proud to have an employee like him.  B. Earlier this week my husband and I arrived at your dealership to test drive and determine a realistic price for an Xterra.  We were greeted by James Leinbauer.  What a nice surprise!  This young man "get's it." It has been over ten years since I purchased my last vehicle.  I was overwhelmed with the variety of products on the market.  When I purchased my last car, the Internet was of no use.  This time I contacted several dealerships on the web.  My experiences were mixed.

I appreciate the patience and time you spent with me.  You did not hesitate to show a selection of vehicles.  Each one was test driven, options explained and suggestions made to narrow the selection.

When the time came to discuss the payments without a commitment to purchase, you worked out the terms that I requested.  I never felt any pressure to buy.  I believe that I could have left and returned another day, pick up where I left off and make a deal.

You can tell a good salesman by the length of time he stays with a dealership.  Dwight left quite an impression on both of us, because he was the first person we thought of to contact when we decided to buy another car.
