That commitment is at the heart of our partnership with Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled service members and first responders.
Honoring Sacrifice Through Education
Folds of Honor was founded in 2007 with a mission to honor the sacrifice of America’s heroes by helping their families pursue educational opportunities. Scholarships can support education ranging from K-12 tuition and tutoring to college, trade school, and postgraduate programs. For families who have experienced the loss or disability of a loved one who served, access to education can provide an important opportunity to build a brighter future while carrying forward their loved one’s legacy.
Folds of Honor has awarded nearly 73,000 educational scholarships since 2007, with scholarship recipients across all 50 states.
Suntrup’s Commitment to Folds of Honor
Our partnership with Folds of Honor has become one of the ways Suntrup Automotive Group puts our commitment to community into action. Each year, we host the Suntrup Automotive Charity Golf Classic, bringing together customers, business partners, employees, golfers, and members of the St. Louis community for a day of golf and giving back.
Over the first seven years of the Suntrup Charity Golf Classic, the event raised more than $1.5 million for Folds of Honor, helping fund more than 290 educational scholarships. Those numbers represent more than dollars raised or rounds of golf played. They represent educational opportunities for families who have sacrificed immensely in service to our country. possible.
