About Pedal the Cause
Pedal the Cause is a St. Louis-based nonprofit dedicated to advancing cancer research and helping create a future without cancer. Since its founding in 2010, the organization has brought together the St. Louis community through cycling events, fundraising, volunteering, and community partnerships to support groundbreaking cancer research.
Pedal the Cause directs funds raised through its events and community initiatives toward cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. This support helps researchers pursue innovative treatments, advance clinical research, and turn promising discoveries into new possibilities for cancer patients and families.
With more than $56 million raised since 2010 and hundreds of research projects funded, Pedal the Cause has become an important part of the St. Louis cancer research community. Its efforts demonstrate how local businesses, families, organizations, and individuals can come together to make a meaningful impact beyond the St. Louis area.
