Downtown St. Louis Old Courthouse Lights

This year the Old Courthouse will decked in a traditional Victorian style. The decor was unveiled the Friday following Thanksgiving, and admission is free. Head over to downtown St. Louis to see the gorgeous lights and decorations, tour the inside of the courthouse, and learn a bit more about St. Louis history.

Christmas Traditions Festival

Through December 24th, you can celebrate the season on Main St. in St. Charles. Carolers will sing Christmas tunes as you explore the beautiful Christmas decorations. On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, restaurants and shops are open until 9 p.m. during this celebration. On Wednesdays and Fridays, you can also listen to a retelling of Twas the Night Before Christmas from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Garden Glow at the Missouri Botanical Garden

See the Missouri Botanical Garden in a new way through January 1st. The whole garden will be shining brightly with more than one million lights in some of the most popular areas, including the Kaeser Memorial Maze, Climatron®, Tower Grove House, and the Central Axis. Enjoy s’mores and festival holiday drinks, and be sure to snap a lot of pictures, as there are plenty of great photo opps here!

U.S. Bank Wild Lights at the Saint Louis Zoo

Zoo lights are a favorite holiday tradition that people of all ages can enjoy. The U.S. Bank Wild Lights run through the end of December, so plan an evening trip to visit the animals and enjoy the wonderful displays. You can also gather round a fire to make s’mores, make winter crafts, and listen to carolers on the weekends.

Polar Express Train Ride

Are you kids ready to head to the North Pole? Through December 30th, you can all board the Polar Express at St. Louis Union Station, and create lasting Christmas memories for the whole family. One board, you’ll relieve this classic story. Once you arrive at the North Pole, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be waiting to give each child a special present.
