Beautiful Spring Park

We’ve always enjoyed the local holiday events, but now it’s time to put away those heavy winter coats and get out to some of the festive springtime events in St. Louis. Spring is one of our favorite seasons here at Suntrup Automotive Group, and we’ve compiled a list of some fun things to do this spring that we think the whole family will enjoy.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Run

March 16th

The annual St. Patrick’s Day parade features marching bands, elaborately decorated floats, and giant cartoon-character balloons. The parade is held on the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day and starts off at noon from 18th and Market Street. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade Run, sponsored by Michelob ULTRA, starts at 9:00 a.m. The 5-mile/3K race begins at Busch Stadium with the course winding through the streets of downtown St. Louis.

GO! St. Louis Marathon & Family Fitness Weekend

This largest competitive fitness event in Missouri features races and events for all ages and all ability levels. There will be a full marathon, a half marathon, a marathon relay, a 10K and 5K race, children’s fun runs, and more. The marathon kicks off downtown and the course takes runners past many St. Louis landmarks such as Busch Stadium, Forest Park, the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, and University City.

St. Louis Earth Day Festival

April 27-28

Held annually in Forest Park on the Muny grounds, the St. Louis Earth Day Festival provides an opportunity for the community to celebrate the Earth while learning about ways to make every day Earth Day. The event features over 200 booths, local food vendors, music and entertainment on three different stages, and a wide variety of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. The festival will take place from 11:0 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days.

Art Fair at Laumeier

May 10-12

Held at Laumeier Sculpture Park on Mother’s Day weekend, this annual art fair features up to 150 juried artists from around the country, local food and beverage vendors, live music, and many fun hands-on activities for children.
